Nancy Phipps Hodge posted a condolence

Growing up next door (only a mile or so) from the Roscoe Sexton family, my father Harve Phipps and family shared a deep friendship, a lot of hard work with all the Sextons. as well as a lot of very good noontime meals. Daddy and Roscoe shared a lot of farm work, such as haying and sheep shearing and anything else that came to hand. Of course that mean that Ray and my brother Benny shared a lot of work too, and my younger brother Pete did all a little kid could do. My job was to carry water and help get dinner. I remember Alma Jo got to drive Ray's jeep sometimes and we sure bounced over the rough places. Ray was certainly a good friend to all, and I am proud of have know him, Alma Jo and all the family.
Laura, they were so very proud of their beautiful daughter, and I know you will continue to miss both dearly. God bless you.
